There was just so darn much to do in Rome that we made this sort of catch all page for lots of random fun things we did. One thing we did pretty consistently was parent walks around the wonderful streets after we got the kids down for bed. A three parent household means two of us could go out together while one stayed behind with the kiddos!
Lex and BC found a kissing point.
Tab and Lex made it to the Trevi Fountain one evening.
BC and Tab crossed the Tiber into Trastevere.
Castel Sant'Angelo looks pretty cool under a full moon.
One afternoon we booked a Treasurer Hunter Tour for the kids through Maria Claudia Tours. Our guide Veronica was really fantastic. She had Fred and Cassidy completely engaged for a couple of hours as we ventured from the Trevi Fountain, through Piazza Navona, and to the Pantheon.
One night Lex and BC took an evening to celebrate ten years since their first date with a dinner for two at Terra Satis Bistro in the Trastevere neighborhood. It was super delicious.

Sometimes you just have to sit in your doorway in Rome and watch the world go by.
Sometimes you just have to sit on a wall in Rome and watch the Tiber go by.
Every year we take family photos so we took the opportunity to book Roberta from Flytographer for a session in Rome. Here are a few of the shots from our session.
Remember our friends from Canada that we stayed with before leaving for Italy? They came to meet us on our last day in Rome then traveled to Sicily to share the stay there.
