Our amazing friends have a beautiful house on Otter Lake (about an hour from Ottawa, Ontario) that we have been meaning to make it to since we had plans to visit them in May of 2020.

We decided to add a few days to our trip to take advantage of their hospitality and it was the best move. There has been a lot of swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and chasing frogs and snakes.

And what's a visit to Canada without at least one stop at Tim Horton's?
