Alexis found about this lesser known museum in Florence called the Stibbert Museum. The impression it gives: some really rich guy was a hoarder of arms & armor, portraits, and furniture and stuff. He left it all to the city of Florence along with his mansion where he set it all up for display. It's an impressive collection, truly, and the mansion is its own amazing display of late 19th century extravagance.
