After a couple of days hanging around the agriturismo adjusting to the time change we finally made it into Florence for some good old fashioned touristy site seeing.

Of course we started sampling the local delicacies, too.

There was also art, old stuff, a river, more food, and just plain shenanigans.

Just walking around in Florence is a great experience. Seeing how an old city, much of which was built in medieval times if not before, has transformed over the years is really incredible.

Even in the so-called off season it was pretty crowded.
