Fattoria di Maiano

We began our Florence trip at the agriturismo, Fattoria Di Maiano in the hills just above Florence. This working farm produces primarily olive oil, as well as eggs and produce for its own restaurant and many of the neighboring restaurants.

It was the perfect place to recoup our jetlag after traveling for over 24 hours straight! 

The kids got to experience farm life in Italy . . . instead of in Sherwood where we live and where there are plenty of farms. 😐

Of course the pool was a big hit with all of us, but especially the kids.
